As the founding director of a 30 year old transformational movement practice called Let Your Yoga Dance LLC, and 35 year faculty and teacher trainer at the biggest holistic health and yoga center in the USA (Kripalu Center), I can say with absolute certainty that Lori Cable is phenomenal. I always hated gyms. I always hated workouts. A few years ago, I happened to look into a full length mirror. To my horror, my body was definitely sagging in all the wrong places. Even though I teach dance and yoga, it was clear I was avoiding body parts needing the most help. In despair, I contacted Lori. We have been zooming twice a week ever since. She has taught me that working out is fun. Lori has shown me how necessary it is to work out. My once flabby triceps and biceps are getting really ripped! I feel so much better. Lori is a pro; she's the real deal. She has been offering one-on-one workouts for decades. And now there is ZOOM. Lori makes me feel like we are in the same room. She makes me laugh, she offers great feedback and she is encouraging.  I have graduated from micro weights to heavier weights. I am so blessed, lucky, and honored to have Lori Cable as my Personal Trainer.

Lori is a fantastic trainer! She is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition and wellness, and she is also patient and encouraging. Lori is also great at making the workouts as fun and entertaining as possible.  
 
I’ve been extremely impressed with how easy and effective the virtual workouts have been. While I loved in-person workouts with Lori, I actually like the virtual more! I get the same results, and we have more flexibility in scheduling. 
 
Bottom line, I’ve worked with other trainers in the past, and Lori is the absolute best!! In addition to being an excellent trainer, she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met!

I wholeheartedly recommend Lori Cable as a personal trainer! I have worked with Lori one-on-one for many years--several years “in person” in the gym of the Berkeley, California YMCA and online during the past year and a half. She is extraordinarily kind, patient, respectful, responsive and fun. She works with clients of all ages, putting them at ease and adapting workouts to suit their wishes and needs. She puts a lot of effort into creating tailor-made, thoughtfully-designed workouts and is super positive and encouraging. For someone like myself who is somewhat exercise-phobic, she makes sessions enjoyable by keeping up a fun conversation. She is very sympathetic and supportive regarding physical challenges (such as joint pain & osteoporosis), researching appropriate exercises and regularly checking in to ask whether any exercises are causing discomfort. Lori has adjusted extremely well to on-line personal training, adapting workouts to whatever equipment people have on hand and maintaining a very warm, easy-going approach to asking people to move around their device so that she can see them. I can’t recommend Lori highly enough. You won’t regret hiring her as your personal trainer!

I’ve been working with personal trainers since breaking a shoulder in 2007.  Lori is terrific! We started on Zoom during the pandemic … I wasn’t sure about using Zoom but it’s fine. Until the cat knocks the iPad over!  We’ve recently added yoga sessions and that has relieved a knee issue I had for months. Lori’s instructions are clear and she’s very patient. She’s very knowledgeable about how to address or work around aches and pains. She even documents the workouts in the hope that I’ll do the workout on my own. No trainer has done that for me before and having the info at hand actually works!

For 10 years I’ve been lucky enough to workout with Lori Cable. My workout group has people in their 50’s, 60’s and 80’s and Lori really meets all of our needs. She checks in with each of us before putting together a new workout, to consider new ailments and/or to focus on specific body parts. We all have a voice and she makes accommodations (example: options a,b,c, or d if needed for a particular exercise). It’s a game changer. Working out with Lori is fun and doable for anyone. Not only does Lori have a plethora of experience, she’s a kind and interesting person to engage with. Everyone in my group is beyond grateful for Lori’s trainings.

I have trained with Lori for over 10 years. She has worked to enhance my body's strength, flexibility and balance. Throughout my life I have always worked out, usually it was a heavy cardio workout.
